Moni Jitchell are a two-piece from Glasgow, consisting of Grant Donaldson (vocals, drums, synths), and David Scott (guitar, bass). Aware is their second LP, although one might hesitate to call it a full-length as its nine tracks only add up to a total of 21 minutes.
“I don’t like change. Please don’t change on me. Let’s just stay the same. Movement doesn’t come easily.”
And so, with a sense of anxiety and weariness, vocalist and guitarist Nick Crider intones to open the title track of Change (Ossein Records), the latest record by Richmond, Virginia four-piece Dumb Waiter.
Synth-Punk duo Point Line Plane originally formed in 2002, only to split up in 2005 after releasing two albums. They have now reformed and are re-releasing their debut self-titled record (Skin Graft Records), which comes out on vinyl and digital for the first time.
