Flying Colors to Release “Third Stage: Live in London” Album This Fall


Progressive Rock supergroup Flying Colors will release a new live album, Third Stage: Live in London via Music Theories Recordings – home to Ayreon, Jordan Rudess, Von Hertzen Brothers, Michael Romeo, Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert, and Spock’s Beard. The album was filmed during their 2019 US and European tour and the footage captures the exhilarating sold-out final night, on the 14th December at the iconic Grade II Listed, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London. The album will be released on several formats including, Orange transparent 3LP, Blu-ray, digitally, 2CD/DVD, and a 40-page Earbook which includes 5 discs; 2CD album, 2DVDs and a Blu-ray. Ayreon – Ayreon Universe DVD


If you are familiar with Ayreon, you will probably know that these collaborative works of music are the brainchild of the somewhat reclusive Arjen Anthony Lucassen, and are rarely – if ever – performed live. September 2015 saw the presentation of The Theater Equation, four shows in which the album The Human Equation (Inside Out) was performed in its entirety in front of a live audience.
