Thy Catafalque have just released a live video for their track, “Vasgyár.” It was recorded at a hometown performance last year, the original song coming from their twelfth album, XII: A gyönyörű álmok ezután jönnek (The Beautiful Dreams Are Yet to Come), out now on Season of Mist records. The video lands just a few weeks before the band kick off a run of European festivals – including Hellfest, Rockstadt Extreme, and Alcatraz – followed by their first-ever tour of Latin America. ALBUM REVIEW: Thy Catafalque – Alföld
Since their formation in 1998 Hungary’s Thy Catafalque have been releasing category-defying experimental metal records to an ever-growing fanbase. In 2011 the band effectively became the solo project of songwriter Tamás Kátai, who provides guitar, bass, keyboards, programming, and vocals and now makes use of various guest musicians on each release.
