Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats Announce New Album “Nell’ Ora Blu”

Poised to stand out as the most radical album of Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats’ storied career, “Nell’ Ora Blu” is a true tour-de-force of dramatic ingenuity. Inspired by the dark, mysterious, and often bloody Italian Giallo film scene, Kevin Starrs took a detour and created his own storyboard to play along with and the result is a beautiful and suspense-filled instrumental soundtrack…for a non-existent film. Nell’ Ora Blu will be available on Vinyl as a double LP, CD, and for digital download on May 10, 2024, via Rise Above Records. Pre-orders will be available soon.

King Diamond Announces New Album, New Tour Dates with Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats

King Diamond has been hinting at a major announcement for some time and here it is. The title and theme for the first studio album in 12 years is The Institute, due out from Metal Blade Records in 2020, with a debut single this fall. In the meantime, a tour teaser with a sneak peak of the new stage set can be viewed below. Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats – Blood Ceremony: Live at O2 Institute, Birmingham (UK)

After being somewhat spoiled with three support acts the previous night at Skid Row in Manchester, it’s a bump back down to a single support for this evening’s fare, with Canada’s Blood Ceremony touring in support of Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats at Birmingham’s O2 Institute. The room is not quite sold out, though very busy, with the intimate feel of the venue lending itself to a really good atmosphere.
