As previously reported, Mayhem Festival will return as a single-destination event in Southern California on October 12, 2024. 23 bands will perform at the festival, which will be held at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California, where Mayhem first began. Kentucky Hardcore stalwarts Knocked Loose continue to march forward in their vision of beatdown in the form of their third full-length, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To (Pure Noise). Twenty-seven minutes of cathartic aggression laced with panic riffs of nu-metal fame and climaxing at soul-crushing breakdowns is all the band needs to prove their rightful spot in the upper echelon of modern Hardcore. Avenged Sevenfold shared a new music video for their latest single “Cosmic” from their album Life Is But A Dream (LIBAD, read our review here).
