Russian Circles Share a New Single and Video for “Eluvial” – New Album Coming Soon

Russian Circles, present “Eluvial,” the second single/video from their new album, Nine, out August 28th via Sargent House. Arriving on the heels of “Empath,” which “showcases the evolving toughness of Russian Circles’ sound,” (Consequence), “Eluvial” is Nine’s grand centrepiece. The patiently cataclysmic track is centred around the kind of ping-ponging delayed guitar patterns that Brian Eno and The Edge developed for The Joshua Tree, with guitarist Mike Sullivan slowly unfurling a winding, linear melody against the backdrop of drummer Dave Turncrantz’s Latin-rhythm-inspired groove and Brian Cook’s pairing of grinding bass and stuttering electronics. “Eluvial” slowly builds to an apex, leaving only the vaguest breadcrumb trail of obscured percussive and melodic motifs to the song’s final cleansing tempest. Silvertomb (Type O Negative, ex-Agnostic Front, Sheer Terror) Share a New Single and Video for “No Way To Live” – New Album Incoming

Perhaps we should occasionally simply trust the Bible! As we all know, it mentions — as well as a number of apocalyptic prophecies — seven years of plenty following seven years of famine. Which brings us to Silvertomb, the all-star band featuring former Type O Negative/Danzig members Kenny Hickey (vocals, guitar) and Johnny Kelly (drums), and their three equally renowned bandmates Joe James (guitar, ex-Agnostic Front), Hank Hell (bass, Sheer Terror), and Aaron Joos (guitar, keyboards, vocals). Their second album, The Interpretation Of Nightmares, sees Silvertomb end their seven-year hiatus, setting the course for a successful future. Due out on  November 13 via Steamhammer SPV Records, with pre-orders live at the links below.

The debut single “No Way To Live” is a slightly faster track, acting as a sort of counterpart to the album’s slower, more brooding tracks with lyrics about rejection and pain. Watch the video here:
