Coal Chamber Pulls Out of Aftershock 2024, Due to Dez Fafara’s Ongoing Health Issues


Coal Chamber has announced they have canceled their appearance at Aftershock 2024 next weekend. This is following the postponement of their fall 2024 tour dates until spring 2025 due to ongoing health issues suffered by frontman Dez Fafara. The band has been replaced on the bill by their frequent touring mates Dope. The fest still features Slayer, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Pantera, Judas Priest, FFDP, Disturbed, Biohazard, Shadows Fall, and 130 more of your favorite artists. Continue reading

It’s been a wild few years for the Grime Punk hybrid duo, Bob Vylan, managing to pull out two of the most hard-hitting albums 2 years on the trot in the form of We Live Here and Bob Vylan Presents The Price Of Life. Displaying a range of venom and blunt wordplay that’s not been seen in the UK scene in years. The two-piece seem to not have faltered either, less than two years since the release of The Price of Life and the band are back at it again with the fourth album in their discography Humble As The Sun (Ghost Theatre Records) “This album is for the underdogs, the ones who come out swinging and those who refuse to bed defeated in the name of injustice.” stated Bobby Vylan. Another bumper 2000trees Festival announcement today (Thursday 7th March), the final one for the 2024 event, with the 3rd and final main stage headliner, as well as a host of some of the finest acts, artists and bands playing across all of the events six+ stages. The 3rd main stage headliner for 2024 will be British rock outfit Don Broco (their only live show of 2024), who have had radio A-list singles, sold out arenas and most recently, a UK number 1 album with ‘Amazing Things’ in 2021. This will be the Bedford 4-pieces first ever appearance at 2000trees, and one that will for sure live long in the memory. Also announced today includes 2000trees royalty and all round legend, punk rock troubadour Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, in the mix for most exciting UK bands around (and also a fully-fledged 2000trees hero) Bob Vylan, one of the most talked about bands in the world right now Wargasm, the stunning Welsh indie band Los Campesinos! (who are playing their first outdoor festival since 2014 at 2000trees), and following on from their 2000trees debut last year, returning rock royalty in Empire State Bastard.
