After recently touring with The Obsessed and Howling Giant, Boston rock outfit, Gozu (Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records), have announced a run of US live dates supporting Baroness. Gozu will appear on the tour from May 31st in Portland, Maine through June 10th in Des Moines, Iowa. Following this, they will appear on this year’s Louder Than Life festival in September and Aftershock in October. Find more details below.

Small Stone Recordings, which is famous for the renowned Acid King and Wo Fat listed in their roster, sure got their thing going by releasing An Earlier Time (Small Stone Records), the third studio album of none other than Sundrifter. Having been around since 2012, the Boston-based desert rock trio has left significant marks through their 2016 debut Not Coming Back, and their 2019 sophomore album Visitations. Hamtramck is a cozy-sized town that rests in the heart of the city of Detroit. Surrounded by The Motor City, the younger vibrant venue, The Sanctuary brings a fresh flavor of heaviness to Ham Town. These guys have something happening on their stage nearly every night. The surge of live music around the home of Motown is part of the city’s beautiful, ongoing restoration. Goatwhore Books Additional Tour Dates, Knotfest Bogotá And Metal Alliance Tour Soon
Goatwhore is getting ready to hit the road and snap necks on tour this fall. In addition to Knotfest in Bogotá, Colombia on October 26th with Judas Priest, Helloween, Kreator, and Arch Enemy, the band is heading up the Metal Alliance Tour 2018 beginning on Haloween in New Orleans. Direct support will come from The Casualties, Black Tusk, Great American Ghost as well as Morthereon and Gozu on select dates. Now the band has added additional headline tour dates with Cloak and Great American Ghost from December 1st in Dayton, Ohio through December 5th in Memphis, Tennessee. Continue reading
