Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer) Undergoes Hip Replacement Surgery Ahead of Tour Dates

Maynard James Keenan of Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer has been forced to undergo another hip replacement procedure after injuring his hip early last month while on tour with A Perfect Circle. Keenan’s hip replacement surgery (his second such procedure in the past 11 years) took place yesterday. According to the post made across his socials, he doesn’t plan to miss any of his scheduled shows. Keenan just finished an extensive tours with A Perfect Circle (new single out now) and Puscifer (new album out now), with both bands resuming dates later this fall. Tool has shows booked for September and October at Riot Fest, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock Festival, as well.
