Louder Than Life 2022 Festival Books Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, KISS, and More!

Louder Than Life Festival has announced its lineup for 2022, seeking to top the epic edition in  2021. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot and KISS will headline the festival of 100 artists over 4 days! Joining them will be  Rob Zombie, Bring Me The Horizon, Alice In Chains (And A Separate Set From Jerry Cantrell), Alice Cooper, Incubus, Evanescence, Lamb Of God, Tenacious D, Yungblud, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Halestorm, Mastodon, In This Moment, The Pretty Reckless and many more! Amigo The Devil to Livestream His Sold Out Full Band Performance Tomorrow in Los Angeles

Amigo The Devil a.k.a. Danny Kiranos returned to his typical massive touring schedule in 2021 with a 50+ date tour across America with Tejon Street Corner Thieves, dubbed “The Bingo Hall” and other appearances such as Riot Fest! He will return to the stage Saturday, February 5th for special global livestream event dubbed, “Murder at the Belasco”. The event will mark the first time Amigo has ever played with a full live band in concert. The show is sold out but tickets are on sale for the livestream at the link below. His last album Born Against was released on his own Liars Club label and was one of Ghost Cult’s Top 75 albums of 2021.

Welcome to Rockville has announced their 2022 headliners for their return to the festival! Returning to a spring event schedule, the fest taking place at Daytona Motor Speedway from May 19th to 22nd will feature KISS, Korn, Guns N Roses, and Foo Fighters each night of the fest! Early bird tickets are on sale now! This years’s fest features headliners Metallica (twice) Slipknot, who performed last night to close the first the day and Disturbed with many other bands. Riot Fest 2021 Adds Patti Smith, Alkaline Trio, The Flaming Lips and More

Riot Fest has made the final weekend additions to the 2021 event, kicking off September 19th, 2021, which will be the fest’s first-ever Thursday Preview Party. Patti Smith and Her Band and Alkaline Trio will join Thursday night, with additional sets from Joyce Manor (performing their self-titled 2011 debut), WDRL, and Kristeen Young. As for Sunday, The Flaming Lips will return to Riot Fest on Sunday, bringing the fest-favorites back to Douglass Park on September 19 to replace Pixies. Sunday attendees will also get into the Thursday Preview Party for free, with a host of freshly-announced perks included. Tickets are on sale now at the link below.

Mudvayne, Atreyu, Crown The Empire, and Afterlife Added to Voragos Cruise and Destination Festival

Voragos: Destination Lunasea Beach has announced Mudvayne, Atreyu, Crown The Empire, and Afterlife  to the lineup for the private island festival and 5-day rock cruise coming in early 2022. The recently reunited Mudvayne (who continues to partner with Danny Wimmer Presents for their first live performances after a 12-year hiatus), Atreyu, Crown The Empire and Afterlife. Mudvayne will play both on board and at Lunasea Beach and will replace Chevelle who regrettably have to cancel their VORAGOS Lunasea Beach appearance due to a conflict with their upcoming touring schedule. All other previously announced acts will be appearing, including Rob Zombie, Mastodon. and more.

Psycho Las Vegas Loses Some Bands Due to Visa and Pandemic Issues

In a story we have been following, Psycho Las Vegas has announced that bands such as Mayhen and Satyricon have dropped off the upcoming metal festival later this month. This is due to ongoing travel/work visa and pandemic related issues. To their credit, the fest has been dealing complaints and addressing on social media, and in emaisl to ticket holders. Other bands still hoping to gain entry into the USA to perform include Efforts are continuing for Emperor, Watain, Crippled Black Phoenix, Cult of Fire, and Psychlona, and we’ll keep tracking this story.   Continue reading →

Long in the works, and presented by Danny Wimmer presents and Sixth Man Cruises, Voragos Lunasea Beach Cruise and Festival promised an innovative exciting approach to music cruises and destination festivals. The inaugural voyage sets sail on the Norwegian Pearl during sea days (February 16, 17, 19, and 20) are as follows (subject to change) that features Rob Zombie, Chevelle, Mastodon, Black Stone Cherry, Tremonti, Saint Asonia, New Years Day, Amigo the Devil, DED, Fire From The Gods, Jeris Johnson, Amigo The Devil, Joyus Wolf and more! ALBUM REVIEW: Amigo The Devil – Born Against

There are many ways unironically describe the last year or so of human life in a manner we can all appreciate. A lot of us use sarcasm and deflection as a means to cope, and it shows. We may become numb to our own reality based on a lot of loss and sadness, and the mass psychotic break the world seems to have suffered. If you are here reading these words, hopefully,you are looking for an escape from the mundane in some good music. Music is here for you, both as a hug to say “it’s gonna be OK,” but also to commiserate with someone who has been there through the muck, just like you. Danny Kiranos, a.k.a. Amigo The Devil has found a foothold in our musical diet, a needed figure to tell the unpleasant truths about that muck and mire we need to learn from, or just relate to. He asks us to look with him and at ourselves too. He does this to a bold effect on his new album, Born Against (Liar’s Club Records, Regime Music Group).
