Metallica Books The M72 2025 Tour with Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies, Limp Bizkit, and Ice Nine Kills – to Play Sick New World, and Sonic Temple Festivals 


Metallica has announced year three of their M72 World Tour supporting their 2023 album 72 Seasons (Blackened Recordings). The band will again play their No Repeats weekend of shows with a different setlist each night. Support will come from Pantera, Suicidal Tendencies, Limp Bizkit, and Ice Nine Kills on different nights. The tour will also include Metallica two-night headline sets at Sick New World, and Sonic Temple Festivals. More tour dates are expected to be announced soon.  Continue reading


Ice Nine Kills’ Upcoming Single “A Work of Art” to Feature on “Terrifier 3” Soundtrack



Ice Nine Kills frontman, Spencer Charnas, has announced the band’s official music collaboration for the horror film sequel, Terrifier 3. He revealed at the at third annual Silver Scream Con, alongside franchise star, David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown), that their upcoming new single, “A Work of Art,” will be featured in the movie when it opens in theaters nationwide on October 11th. ALBUM REVIEW: The Funeral Portrait – Greetings From Suffocate City


Despite this being only their sophomore release, the emo rock outfit’s previous release, A Moment Of Silence was released almost a decade ago. Since then, The Funeral Portrait have been hard at work, honing their craft putting out singles here and there, all culminating with their second album, Greetings From Suffocate City. Looking to spin a tale across the album, the band are bringing theatrical charm and themes into their works. Ice Nine Kills and ska punk legends, Reel Big Fish have joined forces, and partnered with Sumerian ComicsAmerican Psycho comic book series to release a cover of Katrina And The Waves hit, “Walking On Sunshine.” The track, with its music video, is part of an accompanying soundtrack for the comic book, which also includes contributions from Puscifer, Perturbator, and others. After 13 years, Dååth has returned with their new album, The Deceivers (Metal Blade records).

The band, helmed by sole founding member Eyal Levi, returns to a different musical landscape. Metal has perhaps the most loyal fan base of any genre of music, yet the climate is much different than when the band released their self-titled album in 2010. Death Metal is now more regularly integrated with Black Metal and Metalcore. Sick New World Festival 2024 Announces Stage Times, Draws Outrage From Fans


Following a huge debut in 2023 year, Sick New World kicks off this weekend to Las Vegas Festival Grounds, on April 27, 2024 with an enormous collection of the world’s biggest hard rock, alternative, and up and coming artists. Headlined by System Of A Down, Slipknot with Bring Me The Horizon, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Danny Elfman, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, and many more among the 65 total bands. The festival has released its stage times and fans who have purchased tickets are expressing outrage on social media with some selling their tickets and vowing not to go.
