Killington Pit (Evanescence, Alice Cooper) Share Cover of Judas Priest Classic “Riding On the Wind”



Killington Pit are preparing to release their first original material, and play their first live shows, amongst their stream of cover songs. The latest of these is their rendition of Judas Priest classic, “Riding On the Wind,” from 1982’s Screaming For Vengeance album, complete with video. The members connected during the pandemic, began recording together, and a core band formed with Terry LeRoi, Will Hunt, Troy McLawhorn and Chuck Garric. “Riding On the Wind” follows the band’s initial two singles; Accept’s “Balls To The Wall,” and Rainbow’s “Kill the King,” the latter featuring Stef Burns (Alice Cooper/Huey Lewis & The News) and Jeff Blando (Slaughter/Lynchmob/Vince Neil). Joecephus and the George Jonestown Massacre’s MC5 Tribute Album (Alice Cooper, Jello Biafra, Phil Campbell and More) Out Now



On Friday February 2nd the Rock ’n’ Roll world was saddened the passing of “Brother” Wayne Kramer, founding member and guitarist of the legendary, influential Detroit band the MC5. Issued on Black Friday, 2023 via Saustex Records Call Me Animal: A Tribute to the MC5 was never intended as a send-off for Brother Wayne, but his untimely passing makes its recent release feel even more serendipitous. Conceived by Joey “Joecephus” Killingsworth, the album was several years in the making with his band/collective Joecephus and the George Jonestown Massacre and his production partner Dik LeDoux. Kramer himself participated in the project, laying down a smoking version of “Human Being Lawnmower” with Jello Biafra

Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper Book The “Freaks On Parade” 2024 Tour With Special Guests Ministry and Filter


Rock legends Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper have announced the continuation of “Freaks On Parade” with special guests Ministry and Filter for the 2024 summer tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 21-city run begins on Tuesday, August 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Isleta Amphitheater, with stops throughout North America including Saint Paul, Milwaukee, Boston and Austin, before wrapping up on Wednesday, September 18 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Tickets will be available starting with Citi and artist presales beginning Tuesday, January 30.
