Hellsinki Metal Festival Has Booked Avantasia, Hammerfall, Kreator, Satyricon, Insomnium, Doro, Blackbraid and More for 2024


Hellsinki Metal Festival has announced their first bands for the 2024 event! The fest takes place on August 9th & 10th in Helsinki@! The first announcement includes Avantasia, Hammerfall, Kreator, Satyricon, Insomnium, Doro, Blackbraid and many more! Hellsinki Metal Festival, organized for the first time this year, found its own place on the Finnish festival grounds on the second weekend of August in 2023. More than 11,000 visitors were able to enjoy a bold and versatile lineup of performers, which also included several bands that rarely visit Finland. ALBUM REVIEW: The Bleeding – Monokrator


Within the ferocious realm of UK underground scene, the all-around relentlessly fiery thrash/death unit The Bleeding have been hitting the ground since 2010, (technically) kickstarted by the release of first full-length entitled Rites of Absolution (2017) after several years of releasing EPs and demos, followed by second-full length Morbid Prophecy (2019). Having been noticeably compared to the likes of Exodus, Kreator, Death, and Demolition Hammer, they never cease to present the best of reaping thrash-death metal eclectic rawness.

ALBUM REVIEW: Church Of The Dead – Beyond Death


 

Church of the Dead are ready to release more crushing old-school Death Metal with their second album Beyond Death (Redefining Darkness). The band does a terrific job of infusing several different styles into their classic death metal assault, black metal, some light synths, and even some punk rock are all thrown into the mix. The results leave a riff-heavy album that relies more on sheer power and brutality than any over-the-top theatrics.
