After hearing horror stories about the queues I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at the hollow turn of Donington for Download Festival 2023, and was parked up within 10 minutes. Not to dismiss the stories is it close the rather excellent download festival app a tool which I would find invaluable during my visit constantly advising incoming travellers of reach to avoid owing to congestion.Continue reading

Download Festival 2023 has broken their own record this summer with weekend, day and camping tickets now completely sold out. Metallica, Bring Me The Horizon and Slipknot headline a remarkable year for the UK’s biggest rock festival. Download Festival’s 20th anniversary has become a double celebration, as today the festival sells out, marking 2023 as the fastest-selling year of all time. Day, weekend and camping tickets have been snapped up by fans eager to celebrate an incredible 20 years for the legendary festival. The special anniversary edition, taking place for the first time over four days on 8-11 June 2023 at Donington Park, will feature headliners Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot and Metallica, who will perform two headline sets with no repeat songs.

Rock Fest 2023 Books Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, GWAR, Dorothy, and More 


 

Rock Fest, the largest three-day rock music and camping event in the U.S. has announced next summer’s lineup for its 29th Annual event. Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, GWAR, and Dorothy appear alongside 75-plus bands over the course of the three-day festival. Rock Fest 2022 was record-breaking with the highest-ever attendance in the event’s history according to Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, and they anticipate breaking it again this year.  An extra day is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12: *Bonus Bash exclusive to three-day ticket holders: Soul Asylum, Alien Ant Farm, Gemini Syndrome, and many more. Single-day general admission and individual-artist pit passes are on sale now. Slipknot has announced they will host their first ever global livestream, live from Knotfest Los Angeles at Banc Of California Stadium, Los Angeles, CA on November 5th, 2021. Bonus performances will come from other Knotfest LA bands Killswitch Engage, Fever 333, Code Orange, Vended and Cherry Bombs. Tickets  go on sale today from the link below with a discount price for Knotfest.com members. Corey Taylor,  frontman of both Slipknot and Stone Sour has shared yet another new single from his highly anticipated solo album, CMFT, due out one month from today, October 2nd via Roadrunner Records, and released two singles already. He dropped his first two singles “CMFT Must Be Stopped” (featuring rappers Tech N9ne & Kid Bookie) and “Black Eyes Blue”. “Black Eyes Blue” has actually charted as a legit hit song.
