FESTIVAL REVIEW: Slam Dunk Festival 2026 North Live at Temple Newsam, Leeds

With more than a small helping of anticipation, we made our way through the already heaving queue to the entrance of the Temple Newsam grounds for what promises to be a for-rip-roaring day of music and festival shenanigans. Even though it’s only a relatively quick jaunt over to Leeds from homebase this weekend personally marks only my second Slam Dunk experience, with the first being all the way back in 2018, which marked the final year of the city centre edition of the festival. CONCERT REVIEW: Bowling For Soup – Wheatus – Punk Rock Factory Live at Wembley Arena

Bowling For Soup returned to London on a Saturday night in December for a landmark headline show at Wembley Arena, marking the first time the band had topped the bill at the iconic venue. The night was not only significant because of the setting, but also because it served as a celebration of 31 years of Bowling For Soup. For a band that has steadily built its reputation through relentless touring and an unmistakable sense of humour, this felt like a major moment of recognition. Continue reading →

Saturday, and as will be of no surprise to anyone, it was pretty damn hot today too, people were noticeably moving much slower through the arena, and people were checking their phones for the forecast of tomorrow’s storm with excitement.
