NOLA thrash legends, Exhorder, have announced a US Summer tour with fellow Crescent City natives and sludgelords Eyehategod. The live run kicks off on August 13th in Memphis, TN, running to September 1st in Chicago, IL. Exhorder Share Single and Video for “‘Forever And Beyond Despair’ – New Album Out Soon



New Orleans thrash/groove legends, Exhorder, have released their latest single and video, “Forever and Beyond Despair.” Following “Year Of The Goat,” this is the second track to be taken from their upcoming fourth album, Defectum Omnium. Vio-Lence Books April Headlining “Eternal Nightmare” Tour Dates with Exhorder, Deceased, and Mortal Wound


Bay Area thrash icons Vio-Lence will return to the stage this April for a special eight-date headlining tour featuring the band performing their classic 1988-released debut full-length Eternal Nightmare in its entirety! The tour runs from April 5th in Cambridge, Massachusetts through April 13th in Chicago, Illinois. Support will be provided by Exhorder, Deceased, and Mortal Wound. EP REVIEW: Beltfed Weapon – Darkened Demise


 

Beltfed Weapon has often felt like a fun but sort of long-running vanity (but nonetheless valid) project for Seattle’s talented Frank Hetzel, many years between quite short releases featuring a who’s who of underground metal players guesting in support of a slightly odd discography. It is strange to me that there aren’t a series of full-lengths after so much time spent between releases, but every shorter thing Frank has released still has moments to enjoy for the casual thrash, death, and (at times) power metal fan.
