Coal Chamber Pulls Out of Aftershock 2024, Due to Dez Fafara’s Ongoing Health Issues


Coal Chamber has announced they have canceled their appearance at Aftershock 2024 next weekend. This is following the postponement of their fall 2024 tour dates until spring 2025 due to ongoing health issues suffered by frontman Dez Fafara. The band has been replaced on the bill by their frequent touring mates Dope. Nu Metal brothers in arms and touring partners Mudvayne and Coal Chamber will unite for a 2024 tour of major Australian cities and venues. Coal Chamber will provide direct support. Mudvayne reunited in 2021 to play festivals and a recent headline tour, while Coal Chamber has reactive for tours and festival dates such as Sick New World in Las Vegas.

CONCERT REVIEW: Mudvayne – Coal Chamber – GWAR – Nonpoint – Butcher Babies Live at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion


 

For a little over a week now, a mini festival of sorts has been touring the east coast and on Saturday night it descended on the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. Five bands touring together are assaulting amphitheaters with a roughly five-hour show, much to the delight of the Metal community. Butcher Babies, Nonpoint, GWAR, Coal Chamber, and Mudvayne have combined forces and take everyone away from the mundane for a night. The result is five hours of music that starts at a high level of intensity and just builds from there.Continue reading
