After a record-breaking 2023, Rocklahoma returns Friday, August 30, Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1 to Rockin Red Dirt Ranch in Pryor, Oklahoma — just outside Tulsa — with its biggest lineup yet. America’s Biggest Labor Day Party will feature headlining performances from Avenged Sevenfold and Evanescence (Friday), Disturbed, and A Day To Remember (Saturday), and Slipknot and Lamb Of God (Sunday),along with a huge lineup of top rock and metal bands, including Halestorm, Mastodon, Anthrax, Skillet, Clutch, Nothing More, Kerry King, Coal Chamber and Tom Keifer, among others. 2024 marks the Rocklahoma debut appearance for Avenged Sevenfold, and return headlining slots for both Disturbed and Slipknot. FESTIVAL REVIEW: Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival, Live at Crew Stadium Part 1

Sonic Temple Art And Music Festival returned to Columbus, Ohio for the first time after taking three gap years. 

Let’s begin with a little context. The inaugural instance of Sonic Temple was in 2019. Leading up to the event, festival promoter Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) had discontinued an arrangement with AEG Presents to jointly produce Rock On The Range, the festival in Columbus, Ohio that Sonic Temple replaced. So, Sonic Temple needed to be different enough from Rock On The Range to dispel any raised eyebrows about the move. DWP also broke off ties at about the same time with AEG for their jointly created Carolina Rebellion festival and started a new one in its place called Epicenter. While those moves might have been sound business decisions, it still turned out to be a tough year for DWP festivals.

Welcome to Rockville has announced a bunch of new bands for the upcoming 2022 festival! Joining the bill are Bad Omens, Blacktop Mojo, Giovannie & The Hired Guns, Whitechapel, Mike’s Dead, Stitched Up Heart, The Word Alive, Saul, Lacey Sturm, Crobot, Superbloom, Redlight King, Devil’s Cut, Extinction A.D., The Dose, Moon Tooth, Cold Kingdom, and Crooked Teeth. The festival previously announced their 2022 headliners of Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters, Kiss, and Korn during the 2021 event. Those iconic bands will be joined by Jane’s Addiction, Papa Roach, Rise Against, Halestorm, In This Moment, Seether, Bush and many more. The poster and daily lineups can be seen below!
