We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. The fest takes place 13-15 June, 2025. This exciting news was revealed this evening at a special metal gala launch event in London.

Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Rise Against, Sleep Token, Spiritbox, Lorna Shore, A Day To Remember, In Flames and More Booked for Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park 2025


Celebrating 40 years – Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals lineups have been revealed featuring Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, In Flames, Spiritbox, Lorna Shore, and more. Additional bands will be announced at a later date. Both festivals, which share artists throughout their runtime, will feature these acts across the same dates. Rock im Park is set for June 6th-8th at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg, Germany, while Rock am Ring will take place at the Nürburgring in Nürburg, Germany, on the same dates. Sonic Temple Books Metallica, Linkin Park, Korn, Bad Omens, Rob Zombie, Incubus, Alice In Chains, Three Days Grace, Alice Cooper, I Prevail, Chevelle, and More


The full music lineup has been announced for the fourth year of Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival, including some incredible firsts for the Pinnacle of Rock Festivals in America, held May 8, 9, 10 & 11 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio.

More than 100 bands will take the stage during the four-day destination event, marking its biggest year ever. The festival will feature a massive lineup of rock royalty including LINKIN PARK with new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong; they will make their debut at Sonic Temple headlining on Saturday in one of the band’s first shows in seven years. As previously announced, Metallica will also appear at Sonic Temple for the first time ever in 2025 for a “No Repeat Weekend” offering two unique headlining sets over two nights (Friday and Sunday).Continue reading

Body Count Share Their New Single and Video “Psychopath” Featuring Joe Bad (Fit For An Autopsy)



Legendary L.A.-based metal band, Body Count, recently released “Psychopath” – their first new single since 2020’s GRAMMY ® Award winning “Bum-Rush.” The new track features Fit for An Autopsy vocalist Joe Bad, and comes with a lyric video created by Tamara Llenas (Aimed and Framed). The track was produced by Will Putney (Knocked Loose, The Ghost Inside), and is taken from their upcoming album, Merciless, to be released via Century Media Records. From June 05th, Body Count are also on tour in the EU and UK, kicking off with Poland’s Mystic Festival. Check out the new song and more below.

CONCERT REVIEW: Exodus – Exploding Zombies – Jesus Wept Live at The Machine Shop


The nights are getting colder in Michigan, but that did not deter devoted metal heads from trekking out to Flint’s revered venue, The Machine Shop last week. Thrash legends Exodus came to town gifting us with a headlining show. The band just wrapped up a month-long run with deathcore outfit Fit For An Autopsy and they seemed more than thrilled to play a much longer set. Continue reading


ALBUM REVIEW: END – The Sin of Human Frailty


 

Sometimes a good ol’ dose of angry music is what the doctor ordered. This year certainly had some bangers of this category, but one of the best so far is END’s latest effort, The Sin of Human Frailty (Closed Casket Activities). Thirty minutes of sonic aggression comes jam-packed in the form of this metalcore supergroup’s sophomore full-length.
