DieHumane Shares a New Single and Video for “Oblivion” – Debut Album Coming Soon


DieHumane is the Metal and Rock supergroup featuring former members of Exodus, Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Anova Skyway and more. The band will release its debut album The Grotesque on May 5, 2023, in partnership with Ulrich Wild’s label WURMgroup and The Oracle Management, the management company of Coal Chamber/DevilDriver frontman, Dez Fafara (and his wife Anahstasia who’s the CEO). The album was completed in 2022 and will feature 10 original compositions. The band has shared their first single and video – “Oblivion” here:

ALBUM REVIEW: Blind Illusion – Wrath Of The Gods


 

Part of San Francisco’s famous Bay Area thrash scene, Blind Illusion may have only produced one full-length studio album during their initial eleven-year existence but that record, The Sane Asylum (Combat Records) still remains an undisputed classic of its time. Not only famous for adding more technicality, diversity, and flavour to a scene that ran predominantly on speed and aggression, Blind Illusion also ended up being responsible for the creation of alternative funk metal act Primus, the band at the time featuring former Possessed guitarist Larry LaLonde and batshit bass wizard Les Claypool.

ALBUM REVIEW: Venom Inc – There’s Only Black


 

It’s probably fair to say that when Venom Inc. released full-length “debut”, Avé in 2017, expectations weren’t too high. Formed by guitarist Mantas (aka Jeff Dunn) and frontman Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan in the wake of the duo’s former band M:Pire of Evil, Venom Inc. appeared to some as a simple rebranding. A change of name with little hope of successfully rekindling past glories. They were wrong.

Considering most people are already feeling like overcooked baked potatoes wrapped in tin foil, the fact that today is meant to be the hottest day of the festival really isn’t the best news. Still, that certainly doesn’t deter a healthy crowd from shaking off the hangovers and getting on with the business at hand, Baest and Lost Society both grabbing the main stage by the scruff of the neck while Sister Shotgun and Mastiff do the same on the Sophie stage.Continue reading
