The Hellfest Open Air festival 2025 has booked a huge lineup. Taking place from June 19th to 22nd in Clisson, France, the fest features headlining performances from Korn, Muse, Scorpions, and Linkin Park, as well as, Knocked Loose, Judas Priest, Electric Callboy,Turnstile, Exodus, Dethklok, Refused, Jerry Cantrell, Jinjer, Turnstile, Unto Others, The Warning, VOLA, Alcest, Abbath (Doom occulta set), SUNN O))), HEALTH, Russian Circles, Chat Pile, Savatage, Dream Theater and more out of a total of 184 bands. We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. The fest takes place 13-15 June, 2025. This exciting news was revealed this evening at a special metal gala launch event in London.

Danny Wimmer Presents is an acclaimed music festival production company that hosts some of the top entertainment experiences in the country. The pride and joy of their collection is Kentucky’s Louder Than Life Festival. The first one was presented in Louisville ten years ago and has flourished since then. With over 170,000 attendees at last year’s event and even more this year, it has grown to be one of the biggest rock festivals in the United States. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they pulled out all the stops for this monumental milestone. Tool has announced their first-ever destination festival named Tool Live In The Sand. The festival is set to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Royalton resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic between March 7 and 9, 2025. The festival is headlined by Tool, playing two sets, as well as Coheed and Cambria, Eagles Of Death Metal, King’s X, Fishbone, Wheel, and more. Packages go on sale Wednesday, October 30th at 10 AM PST at the link below.

Coal Chamber Pulls Out of Aftershock 2024, Due to Dez Fafara’s Ongoing Health Issues

Coal Chamber has announced they have canceled their appearance at Aftershock 2024 next weekend. This is following the postponement of their fall 2024 tour dates until spring 2025 due to ongoing health issues suffered by frontman Dez Fafara. The band has been replaced on the bill by their frequent touring mates Dope. Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (https://www.diocancerfund.org). The Rock For Ronnie event, slated to be an afternoon of live rock music, silent and live auctions, food trucks and fun geared to the entire family, is the cancer charity’s first post-Covid event back in the park.
