After their biggest year ever this year, Hellfest 2023 has booked headliners Kiss, Mötley Crüe, Iron Maiden, and Slipknot!  Set to take place June 15-18, 2023 In Clisson, France, the bill also includes Def Leppard, Pantera,  Porcupine Tree, Amon Amarth, Alter Bridge And Within Temptation, and more! Headliners for the 2022 edition of Hellfest included Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Judas Priest, Deftones, Ghost, Scorpions, and Korn over two long weekends to make up for the missed pandemic year of 2020.

ALBUM REVIEW: Der Weg einer Freiheit – Noktvrn


As the familiar strains that launch Noktvrn harken back to a theme from predecessor Finisterre (both Season of Mist), it is a fitting acknowledgement of an integral part in the ascension of Der Weg einer Freiheit that was played with the release of their 2017 masterpiece in establishing the band as a serious artist of note. It also serves to guide us into the slow-building and considered unveiling of first track proper ‘Monument’, preparing us for the fact that we are taking part in a procession, a conscious movement from one state in an evolution to another.

Batshuka Cancels Inferno 2019 Appearance, Aura Noir Joins The Line-up


Excellent kvlt metallers Batushka were recently announced for Inferno Metal Festival in Oslo, Norway. However, they dropped out with no notice this week. Stepping in to replace their will be Aura Noir. The veteran local thrashers join a lineup that includes Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy, Bloodbath, Taake, 1349, Vomitory, Gaahls Wyrd, Carach Angren and more. Kniven Bar Stage Announced For Inferno Metal Festival 2019


Already packed with stellar bands, Inferno Metal Festival 2019 will collaborate with Kniven Bar to present their own matinée stage during Inferno Metal Festival 2019, together with DJs and happenings in the bar. Swedish death metal supergroup Bloodbath is confirmed to as a new headliner at Inferno Metal Festival 2019, Opeth and Dimmu Borgir.
