CONCERT REVIEW: Baroness – Weedeater Live at Great American Music Hall

Meeting up with friends in San Francisco, I had about the best birthday you can imagine for my 53rd trip around the sun. After a weekend of dinner, gifts, record shopping, shenannigans, and recording a podcast and directly hitting the bricks for the show, I was excited to get back to my favorite venue in town, Great American Music Hall. Tonight was gonna be killer with Baroness playing all of their Red Album and Blue Record in full, and the brash boys Weedeater in tow. High on Fire Announces North American Headlining Tour with Support Charger and Bastardane

Iconic U.S. rock band, High on Fire, has announced a North American headlining tour in support of its celebrated LP, ‘Cometh the Storm’. In the midst of sold-out summer dates alongside Acid Bath, the GRAMMY Award-winning group details an autumn headliner run that will launch on September 17 in Vancouver, BC. The tour is scheduled to run through September 30 in San Jose, CA and will feature support from Charger and Bastardane. Tickets for all shows are on sale now at the link below.

High on Fire Books a Headlining Tour with Negative Approach, Weedeater, and Exhumed

Iconic U.S. rock band, High on Fire, has announced additional North American headlining tour dates in support of its new LP, Cometh the Storm. The GRAMMY Award-winning group, celebrating its 25th anniversary, will kick off the first leg of the 23-city tour on August 31 in Louisville, KY; the trek will include spotlight performances as part of both the Muddy Roots Festival (September 1) and NYC’s Deserfest (Sept. 13). The second leg will run from October 2-12, and the third from October 26-November 2, concluding with a featured performance at Mexico City’s Hipnosis Festival. The High on Fire tour will feature support from Negative Approach, Weedeater, and Exhumed in various iterations. Tickets for all dates will go on sale Friday, August 2 at 10 AM local time. CONCERT REVIEW: High on Fire – Zeta – High Command Live at at The Magic Stick

The Majestic in Midtown Detroit was buzzing and bustling with multiple excited crowds last Friday evening. The entertainment complex has two venues and each one was hosting world class acts. The swanky second-floor spot, affectionately known as the Magic Stick, welcomed metallers, High on Fire’s headlining tour to its stage. This prized powerhouse trio hit the road to promote their newest full-length record, Cometh the Storm (MNRK Heavy, review here).
