Day 3:
The easily induced crying listening to Warning, when just the night before Patrick Walker was hosting a heavy metal Karaoke in the basement of the 013. Nothing throwing down one of the best performances I’ve seen from them. The insanity of the skate park stage, people moshing and crowd surfing on one of the boxes; all the lights have to stay on for insurance reasons, and I agree with that. I always struggle to find the correct words to express my love for Roadburn and its musical pilgrimage without sounding like I’m repeating myself. Being a visual person, words and I don’t always get along. This was my ninth year in attendance, and I always cherish my arrival in Tilburg.
