We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. Tool has announced their first-ever destination festival named Tool Live In The Sand. The festival is set to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Royalton resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic between March 7 and 9, 2025. The festival is headlined by Tool, playing two sets, as well as Coheed and Cambria, Eagles Of Death Metal, King’s X, Fishbone, Wheel, and more. Coal Chamber has announced they have canceled their appearance at Aftershock 2024 next weekend. This is following the postponement of their fall 2024 tour dates until spring 2025 due to ongoing health issues suffered by frontman Dez Fafara. The band has been replaced on the bill by their frequent touring mates Dope. Influential LA rock band, 96 Bitter Beings, have shared a re-recorded version of the CKY track, “Flesh Into Gear,” along with a visualizer video. The band, featuring founding guitarist, vocalist and primary songwriter Deron Miller, has also announced their upcoming album, Return To Hellview, a collection of fan-favorite, re-recorded CKY tracks spanning Miller’s time with the band.
