We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. The fest takes place 13-15 June, 2025. This exciting news was revealed this evening at a special metal gala launch event in London.

Danny Wimmer Presents is an acclaimed music festival production company that hosts some of the top entertainment experiences in the country. The pride and joy of their collection is Kentucky’s Louder Than Life Festival. The first one was presented in Louisville ten years ago and has flourished since then. With over 170,000 attendees at last year’s event and even more this year, it has grown to be one of the biggest rock festivals in the United States. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, they pulled out all the stops for this monumental milestone. Tool has announced their first-ever destination festival named Tool Live In The Sand. The festival is set to take place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Royalton resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic between March 7 and 9, 2025. The festival is headlined by Tool, playing two sets, as well as Coheed and Cambria, Eagles Of Death Metal, King’s X, Fishbone, Wheel, and more. Packages go on sale Wednesday, October 30th at 10 AM PST at the link below.

Coal Chamber Pulls Out of Aftershock 2024, Due to Dez Fafara’s Ongoing Health Issues

Coal Chamber has announced they have canceled their appearance at Aftershock 2024 next weekend. This is following the postponement of their fall 2024 tour dates until spring 2025 due to ongoing health issues suffered by frontman Dez Fafara. The band has been replaced on the bill by their frequent touring mates Dope. Crobot Drop Their Single and Video “Obsidian” – New Album Coming Soon

Crobot are creeping towards the release of their new album, Obsidian, due out on September 13th, via Megaforce Records. Now, the band have just shared the album’s title track as a single and music video. 96 Bitter Beings (ex-CKY) Share Re-recorded Version of “Flesh Into Gear” – Full Album Coming Soon

Influential LA rock band, 96 Bitter Beings, have shared a re-recorded version of the CKY track, “Flesh Into Gear,” along with a visualizer video. The band, featuring founding guitarist, vocalist and primary songwriter Deron Miller, has also announced their upcoming album, Return To Hellview, a collection of fan-favorite, re-recorded CKY tracks spanning Miller’s time with the band.
