Armored Saint Book North American Tour with Queensrÿche
Iconic heavy metal outfit, Armored Saint, have announced a Spring 2024, North American tour, in support of Queensrÿche. Commencing on March 27th in Anaheim, and concluding May 21st in Las Vegas, the run also includes several Armored Saint headlining shows scattered throughout. CONCERT REVIEW: W.A.S.P. – Armored Saint Live at The Regency Ballroom
A seasonably cold night in the Bay Area was heated up considerably by old-school, razor-sharp American Heavy Metal riffs on this late November night. All the usual suspects were out in their finest vintage shirts bought on ebay and secondhand spikes and leather as W.A.S.P. made their long-awaited return to North America on their 40th Anniversary tour. The crowd was extra-hopped up (pun intended) from the second I got on line outside the venue. Clearly, people were pre-gaming at nearby watering hole spots like Tommy’s Joynt, The Cinch Saloon, or Harper and Rye.

Metal Blade Records Launch a New Playlist and Merch Design from Samwise Didier in Celebration of 40th Anniversary
Metal Blade Records, the fiercely independent label that launched Metallica, Slayer, Armored Saint, Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth, and dozens more iconic heavy metal bands, continues its 40th Anniversary Celebration in 2022 with the release of a new playlist featuring a selection of songs from the label’s 10’s catalog spanning 2010-2020. In conjunction with the release of the label’s 10’s playlist, a brand-new merch design created by American artist Samwise Didier. Samwise serves as senior art director at Blizzard Entertainment, having acted as art director for the flagship games of the Warcraft, StarCraft, and Diablo franchises, the producer of several games, and an artistic contributor to almost every game released under the name Blizzard Entertainment. It’s been thirty years since Symbol of Salvation (Metal Blade Records) first landed on record shelves around the world and to celebrate, LA metallers Armored Saint present Symbol of Salvation Live (Metal Blade), a show recorded at New York’s Gramercy Theatre in 2018 where the 1991 classic was played in its entirety to an overjoyed and packed house.
