On May 23rd and 24th, The Gramercy Theatre in New York City became a haven for death metal as Death to All, alongside Cryptopsy, and Morbid Cross, delivered an unforgettable two-night performance. The Gramercy Theatre, with its intimate setting and excellent acoustics, proved to be the perfect venue for this historic event. The Scream of Perseverance Tour paid homage to the legacy of the late Chuck Schuldiner and his band Death, celebrating the first album Scream Bloody Gore and the band’s last The Sound of Perseverance. Death To All Drop a Live Video for “Suicide Machine” – North American Tour Kicks Off Soon
Death To All – created to bring a new generation of metalheads the experience of Chuck Schuldiner’s Death first-hand – have just shared a live video of “Suicide Machine.” Recorded at Graspop Festival 2022, in Diezel, Belgium, it is dedicated to Sean Reinert, the original drummer on “Suicide Machine” from Death’s classic album, Human. Reinert passed away in 2020 (RIP). Death To All also kick of a North American tour with Cryptopsy on May 18th, running through to June 29th. Cryptopsy Wins The 2024 JUNO Award for Best “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” for their Album “As Gomorrah Burns”
Cryptopsy has won their first JUNO Award (the Canadian version of the Grammy’s) in the “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” category! The band won for their album As Gomorrah Burns, out now via Nuclear Blast Records (read our review here)! Cryptopsy won defeating past winners Voivod and KEN Mode, as well as Danko Jones, and Kataklysm. The 2024 Juno Awards kicked off on Saturday evening (March 23) at the Opening Night Awards in Halifax, Nova Scotia. To be considered for a nomination at the 2024 Juno Awards, national music release dates had to fall between the eligibility period of September 1, 2022 and November 2, 2023.
