Louder Than Life will be disturbing the peace in 2025 with one of the biggest and LOUDEST festivals in North America all year. Over 160 bands will perform on 6 stages September 18, 19, 20 & 21 at the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY for the 11th edition of Louder Than Life. Say what you will about Deathcore, it is nothing if not persistent. Not that the idea of mixing Death Metal and Hardcore is a new one (i.e., Suffocation) but when the term deathcore is applied today it recalls the halcyon years between 2007 and 2012 when a young man’s worth was determined by his throat tattoo, the size of his gauges and his MySpace networking skills. If you had a pig squeal, a breakdown and a dream it seemed like you too could be handed an Earache Records deal. But when did that dream end? Lamb of God Teases New Album Due in 2020
On of Modern Metal’s leading lights, Lamb of God has shared a video teaser hinting at their next release, due at some point in 2020. The clip shows the band in the studio and ends with a solemn “2020”. Watch it below. The new LoG album will be the follow-up to 2015’s acclaimed VII: Sturm Und Drang (Reprise). The band also released a tribute EP to a fallen fan, The Duke in 2016, and also reconvened under their original moniker Burn The Priest to celebrate twenty years as a band in 2018 with an album of covers of Hardcore and Metal songs, Legion: XX. The new album will be the first without former co-founding drummer Chris Adler who departed the band in 2019. He was officially replaced by Art Cruz (Prong, Winds of Plague), who was a live fill-in for the band until he joined officially.

Chris Adler Drops Off Lamb Of God’s Tour With Slayer, Replaced by Art Cruz
In a statement just posted to their social media pages, Lamb Of God has announced that drummer Chris Adler will not participate in the Slayer tour, slated to begin tonight and run until the end of August. He will be replaced by drummer extraordinaire Art Cruz, best known for his work Prong and Winds Of Plague.
