When We Were Young Music Festival Cancels Day One of Their Festival Due to High Winds

The highly anticipated destination music festival aimed at Punks, elder Emos,  and millennials, When We Were Young Festival featuring My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne has been forced to cancel day one of their sold out event. The cancellation was announced at 10 AM PST, just an hour before gates were to open at Las Vegas Festival Grounds. due to high winds. Winds were forecasted for up to 30-40 MPH which increases the safety hazard for an outdoor stage. The fest is still expected to take place tomorrow and again next weekend; on October 29th, 2022.

Rise Against Books a Headline Tour with The Used, Senses Fail, Pennywise, and Rotting Out


Rise Against, still supporting their Nowhere Generation (Epitaph Records) album from 2021, has announced a summer 2022 North American headline tour in two parts, and European dates as well. The first leg will have support from Pennywise and Rotting Out, and leg two with support from The Used and Senses Fail. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 4th.

Let’s take it way back to Warped Tour ca. 2004 as When We Were Young Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. A Punk, Emo, and Metalcore kids dream, the lineup includes headliners My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Other bands on the bill include Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, The Linda Lindas, Alkaline Trio, Thursday, AFI, Meet Me @ The Altar, Avril Lavigne, Senses Fail, The Wonder Years, ADTR, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Palaye Royale, Acceptance, Anberlin, Knocked Loose, Silverstein, Bright Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance and more are among the bands announced. LIVESTREAM REVIEW: Senses Fail – Live at Joshua Tree Livestreams


From the stark desert of Joshua Tree National Park, Rock and Post-Hardcore connoisseurs Senses Fail perform two livestream sets in homage to their classic albums, Still Searching and Let It Enfold You (Vagrant Records). With the former being presented at sunset and the latter at sunrise, they utilize the barren yet persevering environment to bring the deeper meaning of their music to life. A 360-degree track camera and surrounding steadicams capture it all, complemented by flashing lights and projected images of the band’s skeleton mascot beaming from each towering rock.

Senses Fail Announce Upcoming Livestream Series at Joshua Tree


Senses Fail has announced a series of two livestreams taking place later this month, in which they will perform two of their classic albums in full, at an iconic location. The band filmed live performances of their hit albums Let It Enfold You and Still Searching in their entirety in Joshua Tree at sunrise and sunset. The ‘Still Searching’ set will air on July 29th, with the ‘Let It Enfold You’ set airing the following week on August 5th. The sets are complimented by an elaborate build that was done in the middle of the iconic desert. Thanks to a 360-degree track camera, along with various steadicams surrounding and overhead, fans will be brought into a unique livestream experience with a space that was created just for these performances. COVID-19 Crowdfunding Campaign Launched to Support The Worcester Palladium and The Webster Theater

An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to support the employees of both The Worcester Palladium and Webster theatre, two venues in New England that have been hosts to thousands of metal, hardcore, and rock shows and countless other events for decades. Both venues are operated by Mass Concerts,  and the fundraiser is to bring relief aid to their workers due to the cancellation from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
