Punk Rock Bowling 2024 Books Social Distortion, Peter Hook and The Light, Cock Sparrer, Frank Turner, Power Trip, Flag, FIDLAR, The Damned, The Interrupters, Amigo the Devil and More
This Memorial Day Weekend in 2025, Punk Rock Bowling & Music Festival will celebrate 25 years of unapologetic chaos, community, and pure DIY spirit. What began as a punk rock family reunion has become an annual pilgrimage, built not by corporations but by the grit and passion of the punk rockers who make it all possible. After a quarter-century of breaking the rules, we’re excited to reveal the lineup that embodies everything this festival stands for. Social Distortion is making their PRB debut, bringing that raw, legendary sound filled with Mike Ness’s stories of love, loss, and resilience. Then there’s Peter Hook & The Light, performing the best of Joy Division. From the haunting strains of “Love Will Tear Us Apart” to “Ceremony”, their iconic catalog will pull you into a world of shadows and light. The celebration keeps rolling with Cock Sparrer, the legendary East End London street-punk that’s been tearing it up since 1972. With a core group of members who’ve stuck together from day one, these longtime allies are taking their final festival bow in a bittersweet farewell. Other bands performing includes Frank Turner, Power Trip, Flag, FIDLAR, The Damned, The Interrupters, Amigo the Devil, Laura Jane Grace and The Mississippi Medicals and many more listed below.

CONCERT REVIEW: Power Trip – Ceremony – Frozen Soul – The Final Agony Live at The Knockdown Center

8.24.24 Knockdown Center, Brooklyn, NY
A hot sweaty night in Queens at a former industrial manufacturing plant turned music complex known as the Knockdown Center was an ideal setting for a limited run of dates for the Power Trip reunion. I had been fortunate enough to have captured PT a handful of times when Riley Gale (RIP) was still kicking ass, so I was really looking forward to getting a chance to see this homage on the anniversary of his passing. It did not disappoint, bodies were flying over the rail left and right and I had to keep my head on a swivel. You can check out the talented @tinfoilbiter on instagram for a photo of me being courteous to a fan’s desire to sing along after coming over the barricade. It was a party and the homies came out from far and wide for this only east coast date.Continue reading
