Taking place May 8–10, at The Far Out Lounge, South Austin, the event will feature live sets from The Flaming Lips, The Black Angels, Thee Sacred Souls, Melody’s Echo Chamber, La Lom, DIIV, Ty Segall, Momma, and many others. Desert Daze Festival ft. Jack White, Fleet Foxes, SLEEP, The Mars Volta Cigarettes After Sex, Liz Phair, Thundercat, Power Trip, Converge, and More has Been Canceled for The Second Year In a Row

For the second year in a row, the organizers of Desert Daze scheduled for October 10-13, 2024 in Lake Perris, CA are heartbroken to announce that Desert Daze 2024 is canceled. All pass holders will be refunded, and will be contacted directly via their point of purchase. The organizers blamed increased production costs. Originally scheduled for Oct. 10, 11, 12 and 13, the independent fest was set to host Jack White, Fleet Foxes, SLEEP, The Mars Volta Cigarettes After Sex, Liz Phair, Thundercat, Power Trip, Converge, All Them Witches, Drab Majesty,  among others. EP REVIEW: Dreamwheel – Redeemer

The Redeemer EP (Nefarious Industries) is the debut release from Dreamwheel, a duo consisting of Evan Linger (guitar, bass, piano, synth — also of Skeletonwitch and Cultist) and Julia Gaeta (vocals — also of Madrigal and Light of the Morning Star; formerly of Albez Duz and Restless Ghosts). On this album, the core members are also aided by James Stewart (drums) and Tom Zwanger (percussion and sounds).
