Ghost Cult Keefy welcomed back in Marcus Bridge of Australia’s Metalcore kings  Northlane. Their new EP Mirror’s Edge is out on April 12th, 2024 and is a star-studded affair. We caught up on the last few years of life for the band, why the EP is like a reverse “greatest hits” release, working with Will Putney, having collabs with Winston McCall of Parkway Drive and Ian Kenny of Karnivool, bringing back Brendon Padjasek for some guest growls, and the future of the band, and his favorite Marvel  Comics!

At five o’clock in the evening, on Friday, September 15th, masses of music fanatics flooded the streets of Worcester, Massachusetts. What for you ask? The first day of the highly anticipated return of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. Held at the Palladium Outdoors & created by Scott Lee and Mass Concerts, this two day event housed local food, brews, various vendors, three stages and over thirty incredible acts!

After hearing horror stories about the queues I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at the hollow turn of Donington for Download Festival 2023, and was parked up within 10 minutes. Not to dismiss the stories is it close the rather excellent download festival app a tool which I would find invaluable during my visit constantly advising incoming travellers of reach to avoid owing to congestion.Continue reading →
