Louder Than Life will be disturbing the peace in 2025 with one of the biggest and LOUDEST festivals in North America all year. Over 160 bands will perform on 6 stages September 18, 19, 20 & 21 at the Highland Festival Grounds at Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY for the 11th edition of Louder Than Life. Machine Head Drop a Single and Video for “Unbøund” – New Album “Unatøned” Coming Soon
1990s Bay Area metal legends, Machine Head, unwrapped their latest single, “Unbøund,” just one day ago, with an exclusive premiere on Sirius XM’s Liquid Metal Show. Now, the band have dropped an official music video to accompany the track, directed by Mike Sloat. The song comes from their eleventh album, Unatøned, which is due to be unleashed on April 25, via Nuclear Blast Records. Check out the new video and more below.

Machine Head Share a New Single “Unbound” via “Liquid Metal” – New Album Incoming
For months Machine Head has been teasing a new album, sharing bits from the studio, and in their emails to their fan club. Now the band has shared a new single “Unbound” – streaming only on satellite radio station Sirius/XM Radio via their “Liquid Metal Show” on Monday, February, 17th, 2025. The single and video will hit all platforms on February 18th. Machine Head’s new album has popped up on Spotify and is titled Unatoned, with similar artwork and title to 2022’s exceptional OF KINGDOM AND CROWN (Imperium Recordings/Nuclear Blast Records). Lacuna Coil Share Their Single “I Wish You Were Dead” – New Album Out This Week
Italian metal titans, Lacuna Coil, have dropped their latest single, “I Wish You Were Dead,” a tale of emotional turmoil, struggle, and toxic relationships. The song’s video, filmed by Martina L Mclean in a church in Capranica, Rome, will premiere on Thursday, February 13th, at 12PM PT // 3PM ET // 9PM CET. Sick New World 2025 is Canceled Citing “Unforeseen Circumstances” – Was to Have Hosted Metallica, Linkin Park, QOTSA, Evanescence, AFI, Ministry, Gojira, and More
After speculation by fans and industry pundits went wild for weeks, Sick New World 2025 has revealed they have canceled the planned event. hat event was scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, NV on April 12th, 2025. Citing “Unforeseen Circumstances” the fest canceled in a post to their website and all social media. Fans have been promised full refunds within 30 days. This is the largest US festival cancelation since Blue Ridge Rock Festival went out of business and closed up shop just a few months after being announced. The lineup was to have featured a plethora of heavy hitters and legends featuring Metallica, Linkin Park, QOTSA, Evanescence, AFI, Ministry, Gojira, Acid Bath, The Flaming Lips, DOWN, Melvins, Testament, Meshuggah, Cannibal Corpse, Machine Head, Sisters of Mercy, Three Days Grace, Tomahawk, Cradle of Filth, Refused, Filter, Kittie, Terror, Mayhem, X, Poison the Well, The Hives, Carcass, Underoath, Daron Malakian’s Scars On Broadway, Sponge, Quicksand, Exodus, Stabbing Westward, Orgy, Lacuna Coil, The Birthday Massacre, Seven Hours After Violet, Dethklok, Dope, Scowl, Show Me The Body, Napalm Death, Dope, Arch Enemy, Twin Tribes, and more! Bay Area Metal Titans Machine Head announce a Massive North American tour alongside Swedish metal icons In Flames, Italian alt-metallers Lacuna Coil, and American metalcore maestros Unearth. The crushing 5 week jaunt begins in their hometown of Oakland, CA at the legendary Fox Theater, then heads south for a stop at Sick New World Festival, then east, and back across Canada. To coincide with this gargantuan event Machine Head have collaborated on a new song called “These Scars Won’t Define Us” with all four bands on the tour adding vocals for a Wu Tang Clan-level thrash collaboration. The track comes from their upcoming new album (slated for April release TBD), with the new collab track dropping this Friday Nov. 15th at midnight.
