Pantera, Tool, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold will headline the 2023 edition of the Welcome To Rockville festival, set to take place May 18-21 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. When We Were Young Music Festival Cancels Day One of Their Festival Due to High Winds

The highly anticipated destination music festival aimed at Punks, elder Emos,  and millennials, When We Were Young Festival featuring My Chemical Romance, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne has been forced to cancel day one of their sold out event. The cancellation was announced at 10 AM PST, just an hour before gates were to open at Las Vegas Festival Grounds. due to high winds. Winds were forecasted for up to 30-40 MPH which increases the safety hazard for an outdoor stage. The fest is still expected to take place tomorrow and again next weekend; on October 29th, 2022.

ALBUM REVIEW: Palisades – Reaching Hypercritical

It doesn’t seem like it’s been long since Palisades joined the post-hardcore scene. On the contrary, though, it’s now been almost ten years since their debut, Outcasts, dropped, and Reaching Hypercritical (Rise Records) their latest release, is the fifth album to come from the band. While the previous works have been on the lighter end of the subgenre, the singles released have featured some heavier moments in line with the heavier subject matters in the album dealing with mental health.

Let’s take it way back to Warped Tour ca. 2004 as When We Were Young Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. A Punk, Emo, and Metalcore kids dream, the lineup includes headliners My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Other bands on the bill include Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, The Linda Lindas, Alkaline Trio, Thursday, AFI, Meet Me @ The Altar, Avril Lavigne, Senses Fail, The Wonder Years, ADTR, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Palaye Royale, Acceptance, Anberlin, Knocked Loose, Silverstein, Bright Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance and more are among the bands announced. Welcome to Rockville has announced their 2022 headliners for their return to the festival! Returning to a spring event schedule, the fest taking place at Daytona Motor Speedway from May 19th to 22nd will feature KISS, Korn, Guns N Roses, and Foo Fighters each night of the fest! Early bird tickets are on sale now! This years’s fest features headliners Metallica (twice) Slipknot, who performed last night to close the first the day and Disturbed with many other bands. The film starred and featured music from many Sumerian cornerstone artists with a score co-written by Jonathan Davis of Korn.
