Let’s take it way back to Warped Tour ca. 2004 as When We Were Young Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. A Punk, Emo, and Metalcore kids dream, the lineup includes headliners My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Other bands on the bill include Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, The Linda Lindas, Alkaline Trio, Thursday, AFI, Meet Me @ The Altar, Avril Lavigne, Senses Fail, The Wonder Years, ADTR, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Palaye Royale, Acceptance, Anberlin, Knocked Loose, Silverstein, Bright Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance and more are among the bands announced. The festival will take place October 22 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets go on sale January 21. Check out the lineup and the ticket link below.

Annihilator, Ktaklysym, Vile Creature, Unleash The Archers, and Protest The Hero have been nominated in the best metal album of the Year category for the 2021 Juno Awards. The Juno Awards are the annual award show celebrating excellence across all musical genres and often called The Canadian Grammy Awards.” Last year’s winner for The Metal AOTY was Striker for their album Play To Win (Record Breaking Records/Independent). In the Rock AOTY category Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Silverstein, JJ Wilde, Crown Lands, and Sam Roberts are fighting it out in that category. The 50th Annual Junos will take place on May 16th, 2021.

Silverstein Announces Rescheduled North American Tour Dates, New Album Out Now!
Silverstein just released their killer new album A Beautiful Place To Drown, out now via UNFD. The band had booked a special 20th Anniversary tour, featuring three sets from the legendary band, with direct support from Four Year Strong, and I The Mighty. Now the band has rescheduled the tour dates that were canceled or postponed for July and August with continued support slots from Four Year Strong and I The Mighty. All existing tickets and VIP upgrades will be honored on the new dates. Silverstein will be performing three sets each night: a career-spanning batch of fan favorites, a stripped-down acoustic section, and their seminal 2005 full-length, Discovering The Waterfront, in full. Silverstein Drops New Single With Caleb Shomo, Signs with UNFD for New Album
Silverstein has signed a brand new record deal with UNFD for their next album, expected for release in 2020. The band has dropped a new single ‘Burn It Down’, featuring Caleb Shomo of Beartooth. Their next album will be the follow-up to 2017’s Dead Reflection.
