This summer is gonna rule so hard with the upcoming Monsters on the Mountain Festival, brought to you once again from the creators of Monsters of Rock Cruise! Taking place this August 19th-21st, 2022 at The Gatlinburg Convention Center the fest is going to have a ton of killer bands from your favorite era of music such as Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Night Ranger, Extreme, Queensrÿche, Quiet Riot, Stryper, Kix, and Firehouse, plus an array of interactive events and activities for fans! Get ready for photo opportunities with bands, access to the Rock N’ Roll Vendor Market, Rock N’ Roll Art Gallery, and the Outdoor Patio Experience, with more to be announced. The MOTM fest is once again hosted by Eddie Trunk (VH1, SiriusXM), comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine (former hosts of VH1 Classic’s hit TV show, “That Metal Show”), and pioneer rock radio DJ Nikki Blakk. Heavy Metal and Glam Rock-centric festival Monsters On The Mountain have announced the daily lineups for the inaugural event, a three-day hard rock music experience brought to you by the creators of the pioneering Monsters of Rock Cruise, kicking off this Friday (10/15), Saturday (10/16), and Sunday (10/17) at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge in Tennessee’s beautiful Great Smoky Mountains.
Get ready to rock! Brought to you by the minds behind the Monsters of Rock Cruise, Monsters on the Mountain brings together the best names in classic 1980s hard rock and hair metal! Taking place this October 15th-17th at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge (2986 Teaster Lane, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863) in Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains, a huge lineup of bands from Tesla, Vince Neil of Motley Crüe, Night Ranger, Winger, Kix, Slaughter, Firehouse, Eclipse, Pat Travers, Bulletboys, Vixen, Kingdom Come, Lynch Mob, Rhino Bucket, Liliac, Native Sons, Gilby Clark, John Corabi, Anthony Corder, Mark Evans, Randy Hansen, and Jeff Scott Soto & Jason Bieler, plus a surprise or two to be announced will perform. Rock legends Whitesnake have canceled all of their previously announced tour dates, including runs with Sammy Hagar & The Circle and Night Ranger, so that frontman David Coverdale can undergo surgery for bilateral inguinal hernia. Coverdale made the announcement on social media. Continue reading
The Monsters of Rock Cruise will be setting sail for the Bahamas this April 18-22 2015 aboard the MSC Divina, the four-day-and-night cruise celebrating the original legendary Castle Donington music festival held in England in 1980, will showcase Heavy Metal and Hard Rock music icons, including artists on the original festival bill.
This year’s cruise itinerary is kicked off by a two-night pre-party event at Miami’s Magic City Casino on April 15, featuring performances by Queensryche and Lillian Axe, and April 17, featuring performances by Stryper, Tyketto, Gabbie Rae and a special surprise guest artist.

In addition, Eddie Trunk, host of VH1’s That Metal Show and “The Trunk Nation” on Sirius XM, is returning this year as Master of Ceremony. Eddie will be assisted by an all-star lineup of personalities including Luc Carl from XM’s Hair Nation, Nikki Blakk from 107.7 FM’s “The Bone,” Keith Roth, host on Sirius XM’s Hair Nation/Boneyard, Don Jamieson, comedian, co-host of VH1’s That Metal Show; Craig Gass, comedian/actor from Howard Stern’s channel on Sirius XM and DJ Will, music supervisor of VH1’s “That Metal Show,” In addition, this year’s cruise will feature a “Monster” version of the world famous Cathouse nightclub, complete with original proprietors Taime Downe of Faster Pussycat and Riki Rachtman of MTV’s Headbangers Ball.

Europe recently released their amazing new music video for the title track “War of Kings”, directed by Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company (In Flames, At The Gates, Arch Enemy). In only a few weeks’ time, the video has racked up over 93,000 views. Watch it here.
Europe will be taking part on the Monsters of Rock cruise, setting sail on April 18th from Miami, FL, cruising to Poseidon’s Grotto/Nassau, Bahamas, and docking back in Miami on April 22nd. The cruise features performances from Tesla, Night Ranger, Lita Ford, and more.
Once back on land, Europe will embark on an eight-city tour of select eastern U.S. states, including a headline slot at the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, MD.
