Allegaeon to Start Work on Album Number Seven


Colorado tech-death unit, Allegaeon, are just about to head back into the studio next week, alongside their original vocalist, Ezra Haynes. The band are set to record their seventh full-length album, with longtime producer Dave Otero (Flatline Audio). This April/May, they will also be hitting the road with Decapitated, Septicflesh, and Kataklysm for the Cancer Culture Over North America Tour 2024. Keep reading below for more information. Kataklysm Share New Music Video for “Goliath”


US/French Canadian-based melodic death metal syndicate, Kataklysm, have just shared a brand new video for “Goliath,” directed and edited by Chris Kells Productions. The song is the title track from their fifteenth album, which was released last August via Nuclear Blast Records. Decapitated and Septicflesh Book a Co-Headline Tour with Kataklysm and Allegaeon 


This spring, Death Metal fans will be treated to an epic night of music on the ‘Cancel Culture Over North America 2024’ tour. Death metal paragons Decapitated and Symphonic death metallers Septicflesh are heading on a 30-day co-billing trek with melodic death metal syndicate and labelmates, Kataklysm as direct support. The tour will commence on April 16th in Santa Ana and will make stops in Atlanta, Toronto, and Minneapolis before concluding in Los Angeles on May 19th. Joining the bands as openers are technical melodic death metal band Allegaeon. FESTIVAL REVIEW: Bloodstock Festival 2023 – Part 2

With the weather nothing like the crispy oven-cooked hellfire of last year’s Summerpocalypse, Bloodstock is a much happier place this year, and not even the first downpour of the weekend can dampen the spirits. Especially as today is Corpse-paint Day where everyone is invited to daub themselves in black and white make-up and become angry badgers for the next few hours.

ALBUM REVIEW: Existentialist – The Heretic


 

As a fan of Deathcore back in the early days, I always feel compelled to give newer Deathcore bands a listen when I have the time. As luck would have it, Existentialist’s latest album, The Heretic (Seek & Strike Records), ended up in my inbox, ready for just such an occasion. While this record did not blow me away, it is well executed, especially with the level of symphonic elements bleeding more into some tracks than others.
