Graspop Metal Meeting, one of the most acclaimed metal festivals in the world has finalized more names for their 2024 new lineup. Final headliner Alice Cooper has joined the bill with 83 other bands for year 27! Bruce Dickinson, Corey Taylor, Deep Purple, Electric Callboy and Megadeth as part of 130+ other bands. The fest takes place from Thursday 20 June through Sunday 23 June 2024 at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, November 25th at the link below.
Bloodstock Open Air has added Grand Magus, Whitechapel, Deicide, Desert Storm, The Vintage Caravan, Exist Immortal Eternal Champion, Mimi Barks, and Grove Street for 2024. With the weather nothing like the crispy oven-cooked hellfire of last year’s Summerpocalypse, Bloodstock is a much happier place this year, and not even the first downpour of the weekend can dampen the spirits. Especially as today is Corpse-paint Day where everyone is invited to daub themselves in black and white make-up and become angry badgers for the next few hours.
Summer has just begun in Athens, Greece and festival season has made its way all around the city. Presented by Athens Rocks, June 26th was a day for the masses, literally, as the band Ghost have arrived to perform their Gospel to their Greek clergy at OAKA Stadium. Supporting them were national favorites Rotting Christ, and also presenting were Candlemass and Tyhus for those who braved by arriving early into the hot and sunny Grecian sun.
Not to keep fans waiting long after their “Devastation on the Nation” tour last summer (in which they rocked Saint Vitus Bar with a doubleheader), Rotting Christ made their NYC return.

Keep Of Kalessin was previously announced as one of the bands on the upcoming 2023 edition of 70000 Tons of Metal Cruise. Nightwish, Insomnium, and Rotting Christ are the first of what will be many announcements for the cruise. They previously revealed their eleventh sailing will be hosted on board The Freedom of the Seas from Miami, Florida to Bimini, The Bahamas from January 30th to February 3rd, 2023.
