Ministry Books Headline Tour Dates with Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly


Industrial legends Ministry is heading back out on the road in 2023 with a series of spring headlining dates, bringing long-time friends Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly along for the ride. The tour kicks off April 20 in Reno, Nevada, and will end with an anticipated performance at the Sick New World Fest in Las Vegas on May 13. Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper Book the “Freaks on Parade Tour” 2023, with Ministry and Filter


 

Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper have announced the “Freaks on Parade Tour” via the Bandsintown concert app. Direct support will come from Ministry and Filter for what is promised to be one of 2023’s best tours. Produced by Live Nation, the 19-city run kicks off Thursday, August 24th in Dallas at Dos Equis Pavilion, with stops across North America in Virginia Beach, Toronto, Nashville, Anaheim and more before wrapping up on Sunday, September 24th in Phoenix at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre. Tickets go on sale starting Friday, February 3rd at 10 am local time via livenation.com.

System Of A Down, Incubus, Korn, Evanescence and Deftones will headline Sick New World Festival, a new music festival in 2023 featuring some of the biggest names in nu-metal. Among the dozens of bands on the bill, it will mark the reunions of both Flyleaf with lacey Sturm and Coal Chamber. The event will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. This was the site of the recent When We Were Young Festival, that was forced to cancel one day of the fest due to high winds.

CONCERT REVIEW: Ministry – Melvins – Corrosion Of Conformity: Live at The Wellmont Theater


The Wellmont Theater in Montclair NJ was burning inside when Ministry, Melvins and Corrosion Of Conformity took the stage on Saturday night.

The theater itself seats about 2000 people with general admission on the floor which is perfect for a swirling mosh pit. Built in 1922 as an old vaudeville house, it was enovated and reopened in 2008. Now under the Live Nation umbrella, it hosts some major acts and The Montclair Film Festival. It should be noted that if you are going to a show there, plan to arrive early as parking can be a challenge of Herculean proportions.
