FESTIVAL REVIEW: Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival, Live at Crew Stadium Part 1

Sonic Temple Art And Music Festival returned to Columbus, Ohio for the first time after taking three gap years. 

Let’s begin with a little context. The inaugural instance of Sonic Temple was in 2019. Leading up to the event, festival promoter Danny Wimmer Presents (DWP) had discontinued an arrangement with AEG Presents to jointly produce Rock On The Range, the festival in Columbus, Ohio that Sonic Temple replaced. So, Sonic Temple needed to be different enough from Rock On The Range to dispel any raised eyebrows about the move. DWP also broke off ties at about the same time with AEG for their jointly created Carolina Rebellion festival and started a new one in its place called Epicenter. While those moves might have been sound business decisions, it still turned out to be a tough year for DWP festivals.

Rock Fest 2023 Books Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, GWAR, Dorothy, and More

Rock Fest, the largest three-day rock music and camping event in the U.S. has announced next summer’s lineup for its 29th Annual event. Slipknot, Pantera, Godsmack, Ice Cube, Papa Roach, GWAR, and Dorothy appear alongside 75-plus bands over the course of the three-day festival. Rock Fest 2022 was record-breaking with the highest-ever attendance in the event’s history according to Chippewa Valley Music Festivals, and they anticipate breaking it again this year.  An extra day is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12: *Bonus Bash exclusive to three-day ticket holders: Soul Asylum, Alien Ant Farm, Gemini Syndrome, and many more. Single-day general admission and individual-artist pit passes are on sale now. The following ticket options are already sold out: VIP, Reserved Lawn, Lure Lock Top Tier Lounge, 3-Day Nicolet Law Pit Passes, Electric Camping, and VIP Camping. 3-Day General Admission is $149 and General Camping for the entire weekend on one of the festival’s 7,500 campsites is $150. Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival Music Performance Times Announced

Coming this summer, Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival, the annual Heavy Music, Tattoo, and food experience fest is coming back to the infamous Ohio State Reformatory In Mansfield, Ohio this July 15th-17th, 2022. The fest is headed up by Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Disturbed, Papa Roach, Falling in Reverse, Lamb of God, Three Days Grace, Seether, and tons of other bands! The fest also features more than 60 famous tattoo artists, an array of food options for the event, self-guided tours of the prison made famous in The Shawshank Redemption & “Escape From Blood Prison” Haunted House. Hosted by SiriusXM’s Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin, Inkcarceration has now revealed their day-by day schedule.
