Ghost Cult caught up with Dorothy at BottleRock Napa. We chatted about her new album Gifts From the Holy Ghost out now via Spinefarm/Roc Nation. Dorothy discussed the making of her record, her awesome band, working with superstar collaborators, her influence on a new generation of rockers, and more!

Whether you fully believe the story of the inspiration for the third album from Dorothy, the band fronted by vocal powerhouse Dorothy Martin, that a member of the band’s crew came back to life as she prayed over his lifeless body for his recovery from an overdose, or not, the uplifting country blues soft rocker that serves as the title-track and final song leaves an overriding tone for act’s third album Gifts From The Holy Ghost (Spinefarm Records / Roc Nation) in the mind: “leaving all your fear behind… we’ve been lost, we are gifts from the holy ghost”.
Louder Than Life Festival has announced its lineup for 2022, seeking to top the epic edition in 2021. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot and KISS will headline the festival of 100 artists over 4 days! BottleRock Napa Valley, presented by JaM Cellars, has announced the 2022 festival daily lineup and release of single-day tickets. The three-day music, wine, craft brew and culinary festival will take place in the heart of the City of Napa at the Napa Valley Expo on May 27-29, 2022. All 3-day festival tickets have sold out. BottleRock Napa Valley and Metallica have announced that they will be one of the headliners for this year’s festival. American Satan, the 2017 movie Directed by Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen will see a television sequel Paradise City soon. The film starred and featured music from many Sumerian cornerstone artists with a score co-written by Jonathan Davis of Korn.
