Lindsay Schoolcraft is Nominated for the 2020 JUNO Awards, New Album “Martyr” Out Now!


Cradle of Filth keyboardist and vocalist Lindsay Schoolcraft has been nominated for the 2020 JUNO Awards (the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Awards) for her debut album Martyr! Martyr released on October 7th via her label, Cyber Proxy. Martyr is nominated for the Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year along with other contenders such as Kobra And The Lotus Evolution (Napalm/The Orchard), Single Mothers Dine Alone Through A Wall (The Orchard), and StrikerPlay To Win (Record Breaking Records/Independent). The JUNO Awards are set to be held on Sunday, March 15 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Groundbreaking Metallica Scholars Initiative Enters its Second Year


After year one the Metallica Scholars Initiative with exceptional results including job placement rates exceeding 90%, the legendary Thrash and Heavy Metal has confirmed a second year of its support of community colleges and their career and technical education programs — featuring the expansion of the program from 10 to 15 schools, as well as the addition of matching grants from new partners. The Metallica Scholars Initiative was created in 2019 through a partnership between Metallica ‘s All Within My Hands foundation (AWMH) and the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), a Washington, D.C. based organization representing the country’s more than 1,000 community colleges. 10 colleges from communities that had supported Metallica during its recent U.S. tours were selected via a competitive application process, each receiving $100,000 toward programs designed to support students training to enter the American workforce.
