Bloodstock Open Air Reveals Entertainment and Fancy Dress Themes
Bloodstock, the UK’s biggest independent metal festival, is all set to take place at Catton Park, Derbyshire on 7th-10th August 2025. With headliners, Gojira, Trivium, and Machine Head, joined by the likes of Mastodon, Nailbomb, Ministry, Emperor, Fear Factory, and others, there are still more to be announced. Riot Fest has announced their daily lineups for their epic 20th anniversary, headlined by Green Day, Blink-182, Weezer, Jack White, and a total of over 90 bands performing throughout the festival weekend, at Chicago’s Douglass Park, September 19-21st. “I just wanted to put a show together with all of my favorite bands”, festival founder Michael Petryshyn reminisced before the inaugural Riot Fest back in 2005. Throughout the next 20 years, the festival has grown to become one of the biggest independent festivals in the country, known for eclectic lineups, high-profile band reunions, full album plays, and even a butter sculpture tribute to John Stamos. Celebrating 40 years – Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals lineups have been revealed featuring Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, In Flames, Spiritbox, Lorna Shore, and more. Additional bands will be announced at a later date. Both festivals, which share artists throughout their runtime, will feature these acts across the same dates. Rock im Park is set for June 6th-8th at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg, Germany, while Rock am Ring will take place at the Nürburgring in Nürburg, Germany, on the same dates.
