EYE AM Shares Their New Single and Music Video for “Dreams Always Die With The Sun”
Psychedelic Doom Metal supergroup EYE AM just released their highly anticipated debut single, “Dreams Always Die With The Sun,” out today June 2 on Corpse Paint Records a new Punk/Alt/Metal Record Company based out of Southwest Florida. The band features Crowbar vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein, Type-O Negative guitarist/vocalist Kenny Hickey, and drummer/vocalist Johnny Kelly, as well as former Crowbar bassist Todd Strange. Along with the release of the single, streaming on all DSPs, the music video for “Dreams Always Die With The Sun,” is out now!
Supergroup EYE AM (Type O Negative, Crowbar, Down) Are Recording Their Debut Single
A brand new supergroup has formed with legends of Doom Metal including members of Type of Negative, Crowbar, and Down dubbed EYE AM. The news was revealed in a post from Florida metal label Corpsepaint Records! The band consists of Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative and Silvertomb on guitar and drums, Kirk Windstein of Crowbar, Down, and Kingdom of Sorrow, and Todd Strange, formerly of Crowbar and Down. The debut single will be recorded by bassist Roger Lima of Less Than Jake.

ALBUM REVIEW: Silvertomb – Edge of Existence
One of the most anticipated albums of 2019, Silvertomb is made up of some pretty famous alumni of pretty legendary bands. Flying behind the sails of creativity from the talents of Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative fame, the pair have played together since their were teens, and in other bands as well. Ghost Cult was lucky enough to catch up with the guys in Silvertomb (Type O Negative, Inhuman, Agnostic Front) in Philadelphia last fall, while they were on tour opening for Life Of Agony. The guys talked about Silvertomb’s debut single, ‘Insomnia’, fill in drummer Frank Godla (Meek Is Murder, Metal Injection), finishing their debut album, finding a record label, cover songs, and more. Thanks to the guys giving us a few minutes of their time, right before they went on stage. Sorry for the wonky sound for the first minute! Silvertomb Books First Full Tour With Life Of Agony
On the strength of their debut single, ‘Insomnia’, doom supergroup Silvertomb has booked their first full tour. They will support Life Of Agony on their upcoming Rise of the Underground fall us tour, kicking off this week. The band also announced due to a scheduling conflict, drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Danzig, A Pale Horse Named Death), will be replaced on the first four dates of the tour by Meek Is Murder drummer and Metal Injection correspondent Frank Godla. Slivertomb (Type O Negative) Streams Debut Single – “Insomnia”
Silvertomb, the psychedelic doom supergroup led by Type O Negative guitarist Kenny Hickey on lead vocals and guitar, has released their debut single, ‘Insomnia’. The track is streaming on all digital service providers right now! ‘Insomnia’ is a bluesy, trippy and heavy track that highlights the Hickey’s soulful vocals and the bands’ ability to blend doom and stoner influences with psychedelic rock. The band also includes Type O Negative/ Danzig/A Pale Horse Named Death drummer Johnny Kelly, along with Joseph James, Hank Hell, Aaron Joos. We remember him especially on the day of his passing, and his birth, January 4th, but really all the time.
