The blackest wave of black metal will undoubtedly come from a act whose name speaks for itself: Abbath will play the songs of Immortal! All fans of the dark genre will also enjoy Triumph Of Death, who, led by Tom G. Warrior (Triptykon, Celtic Frost), will once again play the songs of the legendary Hellhammer. The strongest Norwegian wave with an inimitable style will come with the underground cult Tulus and the personally connected Khold, experimental and avant-garde tones with Dødheimsgard / DHG and Ved Buens Ende, and the Nidrosian-connected Darvaza will put on a wild show. Bloodstock Open Air has added Grand Magus, Whitechapel, Deicide, Desert Storm, The Vintage Caravan, Exist Immortal Eternal Champion, Mimi Barks, and Grove Street for 2024. 2000trees Festival have today revealed the first multiple band announcement for next years 2024 event, and it is as ever, going to be an exceptional weekend of music. Joining the already announced Thursday 11th July main stage headliner (and UK festival exclusive) The Gaslight Anthem, will be the stunning, Atlanta Georgia 4 piece Manchester Orchestra, who have long been a 2000trees fan favourite and a band that recently completed 3 sold out nights at London’s Union Chapel. Also announced include the recently reformed and much loved Kids In Glass Houses, the brilliant American emo rock band from Michigan, Hot Mulligan, Blackpool rockers Boston Manor and the Ontario two-piece (that make far more noise than two people can possibly make), Cleopatrick. KK’s Priest Replaces Helloween for Bloodstock Open Air, Festival Kicks Off Today

Final preparations are ready for this weekend’s Bloodstock Open Air, kicking off today, the 10th of August through the 14th at Catton Park, Derbyshire. Sad news as Helloween has been forced out of the fest due to a last-minute illness. They are being replaced by KK’s Priest, led by former Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing. BOA ‘s2023 Ronnie James Dio Main Stage Headliners are Killswitch Engage, Meshuggah, and Megadeth. with the full band list below.

Turnstyle Productions and Riot Fest Presents Cultivate Festival, Chicago’s First Festival Celebration of Cannabis Culture, August 25-27th at new outdoor venue in the West Loop, The Nursery!
