Sick New World Festival 2024 Announces Stage Times, Draws Outrage From Fans


Following a huge debut in 2023 year, Sick New World kicks off this weekend to Las Vegas Festival Grounds, on April 27, 2024 with an enormous collection of the world’s biggest hard rock, alternative, and up and coming artists. Headlined by System Of A Down, Slipknot with Bring Me The Horizon, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Danny Elfman, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, and many more among the 65 total bands. The festival has released its stage times and fans who have purchased tickets are expressing outrage on social media with some selling their tickets and vowing not to go. Following a meteorically successful inaugural year, Sick New World is set to return to the Las Vegas Festival Grounds April 27, 2024 with an enormous collection of the world’s biggest hard rock, alternative, and up and coming artists. The inaugural Born Dead Music Festival (Born Dead Fest) will take place September 2-3, 2023 in Albany, NY across two stages at Empire Live and Empire Underground. Presented by unique tattoo streetwear & alternative streetwear clothing company Born Dead Clothing, Born Dead Fest will feature some of the most prolific names in extreme music, with 27+ bands slated to perform including Hatebreed, Bleeding Through, Integrity, and Madball.

MxPx To Headline Furnace Fest 2023 with Turnstile, Bane, and Pennywise


 

MxPx is gearing up for a busy 2023! Today, the band announced they will be headlining Furnace Fest in Birmingham, AL this Fall, closing the first night on September 22, 2023. Other headliners on the fest include Turnstile, Bane, and Pennywise. With new music on the way, the band plans to be making more appearances this year, including the highly raved-about When We Were Young Festival in 2023 alongside Blink-182 and Green Day (now with an additional day).

ALBUM REVIEW: Vein.fm – This World Is Going To Ruin You


Fresh off an instant classic and a slight name change, Vein.fm have returned with another chaotic work of art entitled This World Is Going To Ruin You (Nuclear Blast). The Boston (yes, I am very biased on this one) hardcore outfit came back swinging in this sophomore release that certainly lives up to its predecessor without being a copy/paste job. While the expected frantic song structures and nu-metal influences are here as expected, I felt an increase of melodic moments in this record, and that is not a disparaging remark at all.
