Alice In Chains Classic Album “Dirt” Turns 30 – Remastered Album Out Now

Rock and Metal kings Alice In Chains are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of their epic album Dirt (Columbia)! Foscor Shares an Incredible Cover of Alice In Chains’ Iconic Track “Would”

Catalan post-Rock masters Foscor have surprised and delighted us with their new cover of the Alice in Chains song “Would?” – an iconic track from the heyday of grunge and American rock. Released from both the original soundtrack to Singles and the band’s landmark album Dirt (both celebrating a 30th anniversary in 2022 (AIC this week), the song is epic. In Foscor’s hands they transform the track into a post-Rock masterpiece with other elements not heard in the original (nods to doom metal and black metal), but undeniably remains Foscor sounding. Listen to the cover via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel below.

ALBUM REVIEW: Cave In – Heavy Pendulum

Released some twenty-five years into a career that saw them burst out of the east-coast hardcore scene in the mid nineties, Heavy Pendulum (Relapse Records) is Cave In’s seventh album, and is a landmark release for the band who sadly lost their bass player Caleb Schofield to a car accident in 2018. Schofield also provided many of Cave In’s heavier vocals, and his role in the band is assumed by close friend Nate Newton (Converge, Deathriders), and who also has a mean voice himself.
