Decibel Magazine’s Decibel Metal & Beer Fest was, to put it simply, stacked. Fourteen bands across all variants of Death, Grindcore, Prog, and Doom, descended onto Orange County for a weekend of heart-pounding jubilation. Corrosion of Conformity Books Spring Tour Dates for Europe

Stoner Metal greats Corrosion of Conformity (a.k.a., C.O.C.) has announced a run of spring 2020 tour dates for Europe and the UK! The twelve headline show dates will see direct support from Arizona’s Spirit Adrift. The remaining dates will be festival shows, including appearances at Desertfest London and Berlin. It comes as no surprise that this year’s Aftershock Festival was once again sold out. I mean, how could it not with big-name talents such as Slipknot, Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Blink-182, Lamb of God, Dropkick Murphys, Marilyn Manson, Bad Religion, Chevelle, and many others. And with the über-early announcement of next year’s headliner—Metallica, for those of you living under a rock—there’s no question that 2020’s Aftershock will sell out as well. Decibel Magazine has revealed that Carcass will headline day two of the second edition of the Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: L.A. at the Observatory in Santa Ana on December 13-14, 2019. Get ready to subvert your opinions of what modern metal is and toss out your genre tags. Spirit Adrift is back to bash your eardrums in with riffs, melodies, beats, and deep thoughts. Like the perfect concoction of heavy, catchy and progressive music, the band has delivered a new album in Divided By Darkness (20 Buck Spin) that is just heads and shoulders above its peers. A few bands have danced on this wire before from Baroness, Mastodon, Elder, Kylesa, and others. Ambitious bands that initially got lumped in with the masses, but eventually set themselves apart with fearlessness and writing skills.
