Watch as Ozzy Osbourne Gets Inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame As a Solo Artist

Tonight on October 19th, 2024, Ozzy Osbourne was inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. Seated on a Gothic black throne festooned with skulls and a giant bat, Ozzy was seated on one corner of the stage for that entire portion of the ceremony next to actor/musician Jack Black, who made the induction speech. Ozzy thanked “whoever voted for him, his fans, Randy Rhoads, his wife Sharon Osbourne for saving his life,” and more! A three-song medley-style performance took place featuring his own recent and former band members Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society/Pantera), Andrew Watt (Post Malone), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers/Chicken Foot), Robert Trujillo (Metallica, Jerry Cantrell) as well as Maynard James Keenan (Tool, a perfect circle, Puscifer), Jelly Roll, Wolfgang Van Halen (Van Halen, Mammoth WVH), Billy Idol, and Stevie Stevens. After the performance, each performer went up to Ozzy to hug him and thank him. His hometown of Birmingham, England paid tribute to him today in a video message. Ozzy was inducted into the Rock Hall on the same day his album No More Tears (Epic Records) earned Quintuple-Platnum designation for five million in sales.   Continue reading →

Jelly Roll Announces North American Backroad Baptism Tour

After dominating Billboard’s Emerging Artist Chart for a record-breaking 25 consecutive weeks – ultimately breaking the record of most weeks spent at No. 1 – with his single, “Son Of A Sinner,” multi-genre hitmaker Jelly Roll today announced his Backroad Baptism Tour. Produced by Live Nation, the 44-city arena tour kicks off on Friday, July 28th at Bank Plus Amphitheater in Southaven making stops across the U.S. in Milwaukee, Kansas City, Cincinnati, and more before wrapping up in Tampa at  MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater on Saturday, October 14th. Tour openers include Ashley McBryde, Caitlynne Curtis, Chase Rice, Elle King, Merkules, Struggle Jennings, Three 6 Mafia, Yelawolf and Josh Adam Meyers. As previously announced, Jelly Roll will also open on several dates as direct support for Eric Church.

The fest is headed up by Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Disturbed, Papa Roach, Falling in Reverse, Lamb of God, Three Days Grace, Seether, and tons of other bands! The fest also features more than 60 famous tattoo artists, an array of food options for the event, self-guided tours of the prison made famous in The Shawshank Redemption & “Escape From Blood Prison” Haunted House. Hosted by SiriusXM’s Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin, Inkcarceration has now revealed their day-by day schedule.
