Dundee, Scotland based heavy music fest, Hordes X, has just announced its first raft of bands for 2024. The Infernal Sea, Crossfire, BrainBath, Ante-Inferno, Demolizer, and more will appear at the 14th edition of the event, taking place at Beat Generator Live, September 27 – 28th, with warm up and cool down shows at Roots Music Venue on the 26th and 29th. Along with these first bands, the event has also shared its new main sponsor, Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey. The debut of the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival capped off the Danny Wimmer Presents 2019 spring festival season with sold-out crowds of 120,000 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH, May 17, 18 & 19. It was a fest for the ages and one of the best lineups in the history of “The Worlds Loudest Month”, the signature of Danny Wimmer Presents music festival experiences. Although Rock On The Range, Louder than Life, Aftershock and others wear the crown for the greatest commercial rock and metal festivals in America, COA is poised to challenge both of those fests. Over 70,000 fans from everywhere came out to the fest in one of America’s greatest cities to see 40 bands on two stages. Chicago Open Air Announces Experiences With Pop Up Party Tonight
The countdown to the 2nd Chicago Open Air Festival is on, with just 7 weeks to go. Tonight their will be a Pop up party celebrating the Kickoff Dinner hosted by Danny Wimmer Presents as the official Chicago Open Air Kickoff Dinner, held at Kuma’s Corner (2900 W. Belmont) on Thursday, July 13 at 7 p.m. For $50, attendees will be treated to burgers, appetizers and beer, and will have the chance to hang out with host Jose Mangin, from SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal.
